Jiuhua Mountain is one of the four sacred mountains of Chinese Buddhism. Ancient monasteries cling to cloud-wreathed cliffs; stone staircases climb through pine and mist to ninety-nine peaks. Our retreat sits in a dense bamboo forest backed by limestone peaks, overlooking the Qingtong River valley — a tributary of the Yangtze — a short journey from the town of Qingyang. 九华山是中国佛教四大名山之一。古刹依云崖而建，石阶穿松林与云雾，直上九十九峰。度假地坐落于苍翠竹海之中，背倚石灰岩峰峦，俯瞰青通河谷 —— 长江的支流，距青阳县城不远。 Le mont Jiuhua est l'une des quatre montagnes sacrées du bouddhisme chinois. D'anciens monastères s'accrochent aux falaises de nuages ; des escaliers de pierre montent vers quatre-vingt-dix-neuf sommets. Notre retraite se niche dans une forêt de bambous, adossée aux pics calcaires, surplombant la vallée de la rivière Qingtong — un affluent du Yangtsé — non loin de la ville de Qingyang.

Twenty-two individually appointed guestrooms welcome up to fifty guests, each opening to mountain and forest. Every meal begins in our own gardens and the farms of neighbouring villages — fresh, natural, in-season. In warm weather, dine al fresco on the terrace beneath the peaks. The Tea Room is the heart of the retreat: fine Chinese tea, Italian espresso, imported wine and beer, a good book and the view — and, for special occasions, a gourmet fine-dining experience. 每一餐皆始于自家菜园与邻村农场 —— 新鲜、天然、应季。天气和暖时，可在群峰下的露台享用户外餐食。茶室是度假地的心脏：上等中国茶、意式浓缩咖啡、进口葡萄酒与啤酒，伴一册好书与眼前风景；特别时刻，更有精致美食体验相待。 Chaque repas commence dans nos jardins et les fermes voisines — frais, naturel, de saison. Wake before dawn to meditate as the sun crests the peaks. Chant with the monks in a mountain temple. Hike to hidden rock pools and waterfalls, or cycle quiet roads to villages that time forgot. Learn the art of tea, lose an afternoon in our library of works on China — or, beautifully, do nothing at all. 于破晓前静坐冥想，看朝阳跃上峰峦。于山中古刹随僧人诵经。徒步探访隐秘的水潭与瀑布，或骑行于静谧小径，抵达时光遗忘的村落。研习茶道，于藏书阁中消磨一个午后 —— 或者，什么都不做，静享其美。 Levez-vous avant l'aube pour méditer tandis que le soleil franchit les cimes. Our retreat lies in the Jiuhua Mountain range, about 15 km from the town of Qingyang and a four-hour drive southwest of Shanghai. We arrange private transfers and can plan your onward journey to Huangshan, Taiping Lake and the ancient villages nearby. 度假地位于九华山脉，距青阳县城约15公里，距上海西南约四小时车程。我们提供专车接送，并可为您规划前往黄山、太平湖及周边古村落的后续行程。 Notre retraite se situe dans le massif du Jiuhua, à environ 15 km de la ville de Qingyang et à quatre heures de route au sud-ouest de Shanghai.
